Whose bright idea was it in the first place to burn oil products? The socialists?

Here's a clue. Proponents of what economic sca鈥攅r, system are a law unto themselves and expect the government to butt the F out?Whose bright idea was it in the first place to burn oil products? The socialists?
the capitalists, hey is that a Fugs album cover? Strafe them creeps in the rice paddy daddy.Whose bright idea was it in the first place to burn oil products? The socialists?
No--';laissez-faire'; capitalists. Large scale oil technology was developed in the US by private corporations--including John Rockefeller, althuogh the early technology dates back to the 1860s. Note, however, that it's this sort of ';capitalist'; that demands special favors from the government and is always whining about ';socialists'; whenever someone tells them to get their filthy hands out of the public treasury.

Today it's not much different. Favored corporations like Exxon are getting huge subsidies--at YOUR expense--and protection against competitors. REAL capitalists--the many innovative firms and businesspeople who are developing and introducing advanced methods ranging from wind power to solar to electric cars and more--are pushed to the margins and ridiculed by the right wing as ';socialist.'; Yet these are the entrepreneurs who are the real capitalists--people who are investing--and risking-their own money to build new businesses.

The reality in America today is that it's liberals who support innovators and entrepreneurs. The socialist right wants to protect the privileged position of oil, coal, and other special interests and give them protection from the state.
Blame Drake. He found a way to pump it out of the grown, and chemistry companies found ways to winnow kerosene and tar out of it. Diesel was originally made from peanut oil, but since petroleum yielded a good product at a cheap price, they used that. Gas was selected because of performance within the internal combustion engine. It can be ';atomized'; in a cylinder and once fired on by the spark plug, it ignites releasing the energy.

Sadly, there are formulas out there to convert coal to gas, diesel, kerosene, tar or whatever you want. The infrastructure is already in place. But who do you think owns the coal reserves? I would lay odds that the oil companies have been busy buying up coal like crazy.
Humans have been socialist since they first realized that living together in the hostile world of flesh eating animals that there was safety in numbers and group participation was beneficial
Stand up for what you believe in and stop using petroleum products. Set an example for your fellow citizens.
