Can you burn furnace oil in a karosene heater?

you wanna blow up your house and die?Can you burn furnace oil in a karosene heater?
';Furnace Oil'; is a lower grade fuel. Kerosene is refined more. What will happen is that the furnace oil will most likely smoke a lot more, because it will not burn as cleanly. It'll probably smell (stink) quite a bit more.

If this kerosene heater is going to be used outside, you could probably get away with it... I wouldnt use it indoors tho. I won't burn kerosene indoors without very good ventilaton either...too easy to become poisoned with carbon monoxide.

If you want to blow your face out of the back of your head.
Yes you can, its basically the same thing.
If it is K-1 furnace oil, you can. You can also burn K-2 but not overnight, keep an eye on it.
