Put the burnt skin under COLD tap water for at least 15 minutes. Even after the hot oil is off the skin's surface, the deeper parts of the body continue to take damage for a while... You can decrease/cease it by cooling it off. I do not recommend ice, since ice causes BURNT skin as well - therefore enhancing the damage. (Our skin has the same answer to both fire and ice). What are some home remedies to a burn from boiling hot oil?

I suggest putting ice on the burn. Even though the oil isn't there, the skin is still 'burning' so you have to stop it.
