I would not recommend it and I don't believe you doctor would advise you to go out in the sun if you were burned. Not only would the sun do further damage but it may be painful as well. Of course it all depends on the degree of the burn.
As long as you don't stay in the sun too long. You should also take care of that burn to make sure that it doesn't get worse.
