Do not pop the blister - you will open up the injured area to infection. You should treat it by immersing your foot in cold water, not ice (It burns the damaged flesh) for at least ten minutes. Then cover the burn with a clean dry dressing. If you intend going to the Doctor's now wrap the area with clingfilm. You don't say how old you are but if you are quite young or elderly then you really need medical treatment now.
If the burned area continues to swell after the cold water treatment you need medical help immediately but until help arrives continue with the cold water treatment,
You will be in pain and Paracetamol or other pain killer will help, but do not take full strength tablets if you are under 12.
As a general rule with burns, if you are worried go to the doctors or call a paramedic.
Good luck and hope this advice helps. What to do about a nasty oil burn?
you need to soak your foot in ice water. Blistering is usually a sign of second degree burns (don't freak)!
Soak your foot in ice water, take some tylenol or IB Profen for the discomfort.
Wear open toed shoes and put nothing on the burn. Do not pop the blister. It will heal up!
Hot oil hurts and burns fast. So be careful next time.
I learned recently that stem cells have been proven to assist with speedy %26amp; complete recovery from burns.
Adult stem cells are nature's primary way of healing %26amp; you already have them. Stewart, a friend of mine, has the information and personal experience of stem cells at work.
I truly trust this will help you to a full recovery as fast as possible.
water blisters...your not supposed to pop them...leave it alone..it will heal
