How badly does the VQ35 burn oil?

I'm looking to get a '02-'03 Maxima but the whole issue with the VQ35 burning oil excessively worries me a little. I used to have a '97 Infiniti I30 and loved it. Trying to get back to another VQ.How badly does the VQ35 burn oil?
Most Nissan owners that I've come across the online forum boards, including myself, have reported some moderate oil burning. However, it wasn't anything to be concerned about. No VQ should burn an excessive amount. Some engines are simply designed to consume a small amount of oil.How badly does the VQ35 burn oil?
I have an 03 maxima with 138,000 miles it has the 3.5 VQ engine and it burns no oil at all.The trick to keep these engines going is just do your regular maintenance such as oil changes if you do that this engine can last you well pass the 200,000 mile mark.As it was said these have been one of the top ten engines in the world on wards list since the list started back in the early 90's there are not that many car companies that can say that.
VQ series engine burning oil? No way I dont believe it... thats the one of the best engines ever made! 13 years in the top 10 best engines from wards automotive! Read plz.
